Default Flared pvc for the first time what do you think?

So today I took some 8inch pvc and flared it for this compression box to try. Here is a pic.

I used a 4 quart bowl to form it and a mini torch. It wasnt bad after I did the first one. Took me a little while to get the right temp. Im going to glue plastic flanges to the inside to mount it.

Get a big bowl of boiling hot water. Put the pipe in the water for a few mins so the plastic will soften, then push on the mold and use a tourch if needed..

Thats not really a rounded over flare.... I dont think that will perform that same, nor can I think of a way youre gonna mount that

Who the hell said anything of a rounded over flare, plus the mounting was explained, read the previous post...

Not too bad.

I usually use a strong heat gun, doesnt scorch the plastic.
But pretty good for the first time.

Next time find a better shape for the form, where the flare is more convex than concave.
I have use big flower pots in the past, but then settled on making my own form out of fiberglass.
