Default amp queston

Two questions what can cause fuse's to blow on amp and what is the best way to ground a amp?

bad ground, sudden jolt from hitting something on the positive terminal, best way to ground is to the chassis.

yea because i just put in two sundown sae-1200d's and grounded them to the the floor of the truck sanded the area to bear metal and i have a D3400 under the hood along with a 150 alt upgrade and im haveing really bad voltage problems

you may need a bigger alt for those 2 amps. 150 just may not be enough current for them. but idk the amps personally.

yea there not suppose to be that bad on current from what i have herd but idk but i'll try relocating the grounds though and see if that helps cuz my kicker zx 250.2 have voltage drops as well when the other two amps are not running

the kicker drops to? hmmm thats odd. how old are the batteries?

3 weeks old holds charge fine and everything but the grounds could just be not that great as well i mean there on the floor of the truck but its not very heavy metal though

do you have the big 3 done? they say it helps voltage drop. maybe you need bigger batts? or bigger alt?
