Default big 3

Got a question im in a 05 cobalt where the batts are in the trunk so would i need to run a whole new wire from the alt to the batt in the trunk?

you will need to run a new ground from batt to ground, a positive from alt to batt positive, and a wire from motor block to frame. Do it in 1/0 to help.

I use knu flex wire for my big 3. very flexible wire and can get through anything. especially since you will be running it inside your cabin.

yes, it puts less strain on your battery from your alternator. the thicker the WIRE the better. Dont replace the wire but add to them.
