Default New MB Quart DSC 1500 took a crap on me

So I got my new MB Quart DSC 1500.1D amp Wednesday installed it to my AQ SDC2.510 sub and everything was working just fine. Got home from work, went to take a friend out to hear things and all of a sudden while playing music at a medium volume the sounds just stops coming from the sub. The amp was still powered on and illuminated and never went into protect mode. So I take my sub out of my car and put it in my friends car's system to make sure it wasn't the sub. It wasn't it played fine in his car. So I took the amp out of my car and put it in my friends car. With his sub wired in his car, the MB Quart also did not put sound to his subwoofer. I put the amp back in my car to test my voltages at the amps power and remote wire and they both read a constant 12.2v. I put an older amp in my car on my AQ sub to make sure it wasnt anything in my wiring, and the old amp worked just fine on the sub. So my conclusion is that the RCA inputs on the amp are bad or the speaker terminal outputs on the amp are bad.. Does anyone else have anysuggestions?

iirc these have a master/slave switch so can you make sure thats on master?

what imp load was the amp wired to?

what does your entire electrical consist of?

what h/u is it?

was that 12.2v with the car on or off?

just wanting to prevent it happening again if there is anything i can see that would cause it

I hope that is a resting voltage. Even then, its still kind of low.

Just an FYI Sonic Electronix is not an authorized MB Quart dealer, so there is no factory warranty..

I understand that, but I also purchased a square trade warranty when I bought it. So I hope I am covered in some way, Sonics told me they would be emailing me a RMA# within 48hrs soo we'll see what happens.

As far as the voltage. Yes 12.2 was resting. I have stock electrical except for the big 3 upgrade. With the car running the voltage read 13.9. I really don't see there being much of an issue with my electrical as for I have ran the same power through it with 3 other amps. Because as I said in my op that I have my old amp back in the car and its doing just fine pushing the sub.

I almost 4got, I do have yellow top optima battery

SonixElectronix is now a authorized Maxxsonics dealer, I spoke with Mike Stiers because of a similiar problem, and he informed me that they are authorized.
