Make sure your fuse is good, Simply by looking at it won't help...
I've personally seen a few fuses go bad that simply let enough current to pass to read 12v with out a load....Most of these fuses are the AGU glass type....If you have a volt meter check it for continuity or simply replace it....
If you volt meter or light tester turns on by simply touching the power wire to tip of tested and ground to other lead of tester....Then you have power...
YOu can touch a wire from postive cable to remote terminal....If amp turns on then you have a bad signal wire coming from deck
