Default Coaxial or components

any advise on coaxial speakers? im looking to upgrade the factory speakers on my car, they are factory components on front, regularr speeakers in the back. Now, should i spend money on entry level components or spend the same money on some good coaxials? my car takes 6.5 speakers

front mounting dep 4.0
rear mounting dep 4.25

thanks!

would i notice the difference? back in the day, we use to power the factory speakers on high pass, i just dont want the bass to drown the voices.

Coaxials are easy and the set I referred you to is more like a component set all mounted together. The mid woofer has a dust cap.
[that's a big deal because the most common cause of coaxial death is stuff (sand, dust, road debris) getting in the gap and messing up the coil]

You might consider a set of components up front to be able to mount the tweeter higher but components usually cost about double so..
if it were mine I'd start by buying two sets of coaxials and if I wanted more tweeters, I'd buy a separate set of tweeters.

More kenwood softdome tweeters to match;
KENWOOD NEW SOFT DOME TWEETERS KFC-T207 KFCT207 - eBay $43.74 shipped

yup.. that's what I'd do.

mid is at the bottom, wich makes the pockets useless, might as well just install another set in the future, the tweeter is by the door lock.

comps up front and coax's in the rear off a 4ch.

Pioneer PRS 720's up front and REV's in the rear would be nice. Same with Polk dB series as a few of the DOA guys run them...
