Default so finally hit the meter...

Went to a friends shop yesterday and finally played with the termlab in my 1995 civic coupe sealed up legal style. I have a lanzar opti 1233d tuned in 2.7 cubes to 40hz with a 6 inch aero. My amplifier is a autotek mm3000 and gains at bout 45 percent. Hit 138 consistently and 139 when i removed the inside flare of the aero port which raised the tuning. My friend Kenny Coleman has many world records and suggested higher tuning and a 1 cubic foot box with external aero. Does anyone else have any suggestions and are these scores horrible?

The score isn't horrible, but my friend had 2 Hifonics HF's in a pre-fab on a crunch 1600w and did a 139 in a corolla trunk.

It's not a bad score man it's all about learning your car and running what works best for you.

cool cool and the setup is kinda funky and i plan on changing it a little. sub is back and port is to passenger side all in the trunk of course. I was told it wud do better with the port to driver side do you guys agree. The good thing about the 1 cube external port box is it will be very maneuverable.

im pretty sure i need to find the frequency for my cabin gain i have a feeling im off in that aspect considering the 1 db gain from shortening the port by 1-2 inches.

Yea either port on the driver side, or try sub up port back. That seems to work well in hatches
