Default Idea: Alarm/Megaphone

I am going to want to put in a new alarm first thing on my new car. There is already autostart but I wanna redo it for longer range and a 2way remote. What are some ones you guys trust and work with? I was using a Hornet and it was great and all but I want it louder. Which brings me to my second question. Anyone working with a megaphone under their cars? I wanna go ahead and put a big @$$ horn under there and use it as a megaphone. Anyone know any good/loud ones? Throw me a link. Can I mix them? Can I get a giant horn and turn it into a megaphone and an alarm siren?

take the current siren apart, then find the signal wire coming off the siren generator. wire it into a line driver..then take the line driver and hook the output RCA"s up to an amp..hook the amp up to a bunch of horns around the car/truck...

I wish I could understand any of that, still trying to figure this stuff out.
What about getting an alarm, and then getting this.
COGA PA- MAX POWER System Car Musical Music iPhone Horn: eBay Motors (item 160436109248 end time May-25-10 10:01:35 PDT)

and pitching the horn with the alarm and hooking it up to this.

Autopage / Commando remote start alarms have never failed me.

I use a Crimestopper on my van. It's very reliable too.

You can spend more but you would just be buying a name.

As far as the siren, just buy a 140db siren and make sure it has the most unobstructed sound path you can give it without making it easy to reach or get wet.

nice for 50 bucks, but I want a PA too. I think it would be real sweet to have under the car.

I mean, is it even possible to throw the PA system and an alarm horn on the same speaker?

Well which would you run on just a daily? AP, Commando, or CS?

Looked at alarms from autostart and commando. AS looks nice and I have a local dealer. Commando is a little more expensive, but not sure who they operate. Couldn't find anything on the crimestopper, like I found the site, but no way to order or prices on google..odd.

Autopage and Commando are the exact same products but labeled differently and they have different styles of key fobs. I love the 2way range on them. It's not two miles but it is all of three city blocks and that's enough for me.
The Crimstoppers I've used don't seem to have the range of the Autopage and the other remote "backup remote" is really cheaply made but that's model dependent and.. it's a backup remote right? Crimestopper is still a great alarm company and I trust them.
