Default Bravox 6.5" subwoofer for 9 bucks!

Was browsing parts express and saw these little guys getting sold at some pretty ridiculous prices. I love PE's blowout sales

Parts-Express.com:Bravox WFR-06BV-04B 6-1/2" Poly Cone Shielded Subwoofer 12 O | WFR-06BV04B 6-1/2" Poly Cone Driver 12 Ohm Woofer bass subwoofer sub bravox shielded monitor 2-way dahlquist

Figured I'd post this up, maybe someone can use these. The 12 Ohm impedances is kinda a buzz kill though, although 3 of these guys would work great in my 1 cu ft ported box all wired in parallel to 4 ohms on my soundstream 2200.1

I guess with only 7mm of xmax and a 75w RMS rating, any coil with less than 12 ohms would get blown away by any self-respecting amplifier

They're so cheap though, I feel the need to pick some up and have some fun with them lol.

The fun part is the fact you need an amp that would give 225 watts to a 4ohm speaker to get 75watts to that 12ohm speaker.

True, but keep in mind you only need so many tweeters. You can do all sorts of fun stuff with subs. And this is priced each, not for a crate of 1 billion of them

My current amp is a soundstream 2200w RMS d class. That should equate to 700ish watts at 4 ohm. That should get them little bastards groovin to the beat
