Default hmmm...quick amp question

so after im done doing the front and rear stage on my saz 100.4 i jus got, i was thinking about upgrading my sub stage...again lol. got ALOT going thru my head..currently im running 1 custom sundown nightshade 18" d2 off a saz 3k. i love it, but i want louder, its in a 4.5^3 custom box i made, tuned to 35hz (4.5 cubes AFTER disp.) i deff want to add another 18 to the set up (not sure what kinda, either an additional custom nightshade, or 2 18" DC lvl 5's)...it will be going in the trunk of a crown vic and i want 10 cubes after disp, i may have to use aero's? ANYHOOOO, onto the amp question. i am contemplating getting another saz 3k or maybe a stetsom 7k for the pair...which would be more efficient? i would run the 3k's strapped at .5ohms. ANY info would be great.

THANKS!!
-Jason

It's hard to say which would be more efficient but I would expect the two saz 3k amps to be more reliable because there would be two of everything including the heatsinks.

true, didnt really think of it that way..i have the electrical to run either set up. im gonna add another kinetik 2400 tho. i already have one plus an 1800 as my starter. would it matter if i split the two 3k's or ifr i strapped them?? in terms of heat generation? i mean i havent had ANY heat issues at all with my sundown 3k but i have also never ran a strapped set up before..

deff deff. 320 amp alt, big three in 1/0, kinetik 1800 under the hood, 2400 in the trunk and soon to add another if i do this set up..

ok...without this turning into a war zone, which subs?? the 2 shades, or the DC lvl 5's...both would be d2's. i cant loose either way, both A++ subs. i deff want 8 gauge direct connects either way..so if i stick with the sundowns i will just custom my own and solder onto the lead wire's...
