Default Tone changing? HELP

Alright here's the run down, using mb quart high and mids with a dsc450 powering them, and for the headunit I am using a clarion with 5 volt pre outs. Now when my bass is hitting hard sometimes it sounds like the tone in the highs and mids change a little. It's only when the bass is turned up. Everything is tuned correctly checked with o-scope and adjusted properly. Now I checked on my dsc450 where the rcas go in, the rcas are a little wobbly, not the stalks just the ghetto rcas. Do you think when the bass is hitting it could wiggle one and change the tune?

Any ideas would be awesome and sorry for the horrible grammar and run on sentences lol.

If your RCA's have the split ends on them you can try bending them down a little to hold against the amp better.

Other than that I haven't a clue. I'm not even sure I fully understand what you are saying. lol

By the tone changing, is it when the bass hits the speakers seem to get quieter? Like computer speakers do when bass hits? Also happens with a lot of stock stereo systems when the bass is raised because the bass is playing through the speakers so it doesn't come out as clearly or the volume seems to be affected. Maybe the bass on your headunit is too high; turn it down to a negative number, or the bass on the amp that your speakers are hooked up on has the bass boost turned on or the frequencies are set too low so it is reproducing too much bass?
