Default Help!! Battery for 05' Monte Carlo

Hi,

I'm getting a 270A alt. from Mechman for a 2005 Monte Carlo LS. I wanted to know what battery can I use under the hood as my primary? The setup will be daily driving only, I want to avoid getting a a secondary battery in the trunk due to space restrictions. I will have a total of 3200 watts. What do you recommend for me?

Thanks,

dag79

i think you can fit a d3400 or s3400 up there. or you can modify your battery bay to hold a bigger one.

go measure and let us know how much space you have

^^^ Correct the 3400 is the direct replacement, but if you have some extra room you can fit the D6500. It is just a little wider and longer.

True. After checking the tray dimensions, I'll only have enough for the D3400 for my main. What do you recommend running as a secondary?

You could run another 3400 in the back or step down to the 1200 in the back. Depends on the room you have to work with.
