Default Pissed at subwoofers

Im regreting ever selling my DD9915's. I couldnt even get them warm. I got an apxx now, shi* gets warm after 2 mins on a hifonics brutus 2608d at half power..... guess I shouldnt have used it for daily but damn. Is DD really that much better... I am leaning towards yes. I've used lots of brands, but DD never fails me!

i run my apxx on a d9 full tilt all day and it has NEVER got even close to warm, you gotta be clipping that amp hard or something is not right.

not necessarily the apxx suspension is stiff as hell it might not have enough power to cool it self, as for the DD's they do have a lot of cooling built in but still arn't perfect

that seems really small for that sub,
my 18 was in 10cf and did well now a 16cf wall has done the trick
and thats after port and sub

I'ved owned my fair share of different brands of drivers, and to be honest DD is really not all that impressive considering the asking price...

And yes I like DD products including they're drivers.

Yea if you really think about it the hobby is just silly with how much you spend/fuc* up you cars, compared to what you get (loud) but I love bass, got to have it.
