Default The Easy Performance V-Booster

The Easy Performance V-Booster safely raises the voltage of your factory alternator system by .6 volts. The stage 2 kit raises alternator voltage by 1.2 volts. Installs in seconds by plugging inline with your alternator's voltage reference line. Innovated, designed and manufactured by Easy&ZZ Performance.
Grand Am --- ZZ Performance
Plugs between car and alt. Looks to me that it just has a resistor inside to lower the reference voltage.

Right?

Car Audio Classifieds

Its like doing the same thing but instead of feeding the alt a lie, it makes it do more at the same voltage.

... and you are trying to keep stock alt? Not sure how safe that device would be with a high current system.

I would just invest in a ho alt.

i have a "ho" alt. spent 200 for it at a local generator place. problem is if i let it idle long enough i get a abs light the comes on, the thing is if i keep my rpms up (D instead of overDrive) it never comes up. so overdrive for more at idle or volt boost for better bat charging, both?

Also isnt that part just a resistor?

That could help. I've heard of people using smaller pulleys (but not too small)

Also, that's what happens with some of the ho alts that are out there. That's why I support Mechman and speak so highly of them, their alt give off high output even at idle but do cost a little more (but you get what you pay for).

if it was anyone besides nizzy i would agree. but he gave you the benefit of the doubt and only gave you a 5 pter when it should be considered a perma ban. nizzy isnt a nazi mod, hes one of the laid back ones. although i do not support all of the staffs decisions this is one staff that i do support 100%. just let it go and move on. it will expire
