well i got this amp saying it had a RCA problem, which was fixed, but now doin it again

and i hooked everything up today and it wasnt producing sound

i shut my door and it gave me 2 seconds of sound lol

never heard it again

That's an odd symptom... perhaps the door shutting jarred something into place momentarily - take a look at the internals and see if there are any loose components maybe. If not, look for burnt stuff!

yup thats the main thing i looked for.

ill try again soon.

i saw a small white thing sitting a lil higher than the other one, thats connected to another wire(s) that lead to the RCAs
but i pressed on it a little but that didnt work, ill try it again soon

Were all your wires connected well? Seems like a short/loose connection somewhere for sure.

idk amp just was acting right

can't test anything now, its in Oregon for the next 2 weeks

i'll let you know what they tell me

Last place i took it to told the switch was broken(Hi,Lo,Full)
i switched and left it on Lo Pass.
the people never seen 4,000 watts before lol
i should have known then it wouldn't get repaired
anyways, dude said that he can't find the problem and believes its because of the switch

check to make sure the RCA ins aren't touching the amps case. I had one thhat this happened to, and it would make my speakers play this god-awful high pitched whine, even at 0 volume.
