Default got a quick ? cuz ive never seen this

i have a 89 Bronco II. I know how to do the big 3 quite nicely but ive never seen this b4. the alternatore has 2 bundles of wires that plug into the alt but no stud with a nut to put a ring terminal on so how do i do it?

will get one later on but theres no stud for a terminal like on a regular chevy or honda alt. just those 2 big plugs. theres no wire from the battery going to the alt what so ever.

this is what the wire on my battery looks like. no wire for the alt tho

This isnt going to be of much help because I cant think of the name for the part, but there is a splitter of some sort you can use. I did that with an older Ford car I was working (51) but it had a 305 in it.. Is yours a 351??

I believe your positive wire needs to go to the selenoid input. Then plug in the harnesses and be done.

Were you looking to upgrade wiring? It's not an easy one to do it on. In that set up the factory harness uses the [alt] light in the dash not quite as the excitor but it will not charge if it's not hooked up.


This all assumes it's the right alternator for the bronco II.
