Default Whats The Difference

Ok say i grab an everstart from wal-mart that is 1000 CCA and all and a powermaster that is the exact same, 1000 CCA and 12 V and all. What is the difference in price. The Wal-mart batterys have 2 or 3 year warranties. Is it about getting somethin super high priced to show off or is there really an unobvious difference. Ive always wondered this when people talk about optima's and Oddeseys and Powermasters and all.

Ive kinda wondered the same thing because never needed an extra batt. I'm going to take an uneducated guess & say maybe one provides a constant/stronger power supply??

I cant say anything for quality because i dont have first hand experience...yet... But why do people pay 5X more for name brand clothes when its the same thing as the $5 shirt from walmart?

but if they are the same rated amps then it seems like there shouldnt be a differnece in that. I just wanna know what makes the $70 big ass battery from walmart different from a $300 powermaster or odessey cuz i dont see it .

I do pay more for clothes with a better name but a lot of the clothes have proved themselves, like SOuthpole jeans, i dont get super baggy to look gangsta gangsta, i get ones that fit like they should but i usually have ot replace them every 2 or 3 years because they last that long and hold up, Levis dont even do that for me.

Thats a good point, all about the materials used. But at the same time, a price is just a number marked. Unfortunately
