Question Big Big question, need help...pic on pg2

Ok here's the deal; I have my wagon wich im putting a new system on, my factory alternator with the Big 3 upgrade was hiting 14.1 volts. But with the lights on and the system bumping the lights go low. So i decide to upgrade and bought a 165amp high power alternator and 2 extra bateries.
I just installed the bateries with 0 gauge and the new alternator, and when i crank the car on its hiting only 12.0 volts. Why? What im doing wrong? I dont get it . I can change the alternator if that its the problem cause it has warranty.
Can anyone give me an advise on this issue? Thanks in advance

12v when it's running? At idle? What about when you are driving or revving the motor? Where do you have your voltmeter hooked up? How are the batteries connected?

Where are you reading voltage? From the same place

First, test the alternator. See what kind of voltage your alternator is charging at.

Second, make sure all batteries are good and charge them before you sit them in there, just to see if that helps.

Theres no reason you should drop voltage when upgrading your alternator and adding two additional batteries with the same power.

Even if i hit the gas to rev it still on 12v, the voltmeter i have hook up from the front battery to the back and ground it. The bateries on the back are hook the normal way.
