Default Pioneer Pico Fuse Question

Well I'm thinking about trying out a Pioneer Premier DEH-P610BT. I was wondering if these particular units still use the pico fuse?

Here is a link to the unit that I'm looking at:

just don't plug/unplug the RCA's when the HU is on and the PICO fuse won't be an issue.

Ya I just hear that Pioneer period has too many problems, but I love the bang for the buck factor you get out of them. I was thinking either the Kenwood X794 or the Pioneer 610BT.

All you have to do if they blow is just put a drop of solder over them anyway and your set

I think I'm going to stick to Kenwood..after reading the "DONE with Pioneer" thread on CA.com, it just solidifies that I should stay away.

Been running an 880 for 2+ years and love it. Bought another one for a 2nd vehicle. You can also ground the RCA's if it has a blow Pico fuse, so I really wouldn't let that scare you away from a Pio HU.

Not always true, but it will cut the chances down like 75%

that or an improperly grounded HU are the main causes of a blown pico fuse...

Well it is not just the pico fuse that I'm worried about, I keep reading that they have problem with cd's not ejecting after a while, the display having problems because the connector prongs are so cheaply made, ect..plus the 880 seems to be a better built HU than the 610BT that I'm looking at.
