what do you guys use to eat the corrosion off motors with, or do oyu just wire wheel the motor? ive only had my axis woofers for like 3 months and im guessing that since i lived on the coast they got this way but anyways heres what im talking about. i didnt want to scratch the motor but i do want this crap off is there anything particular chemically that i can pick up for this?
hmm. idk, i have some rust removing stuff. i think its called marine jelly. that could eat the rust i guess then clr could eat the corrosion maybe. idk i was just wondering what others used or if they even used anything. my truck let in alot of moisture but thats the only spot on the woofer where i saw rust. its very minor surface rust
theres no rust even close to the vc bro. the pole vent has no rust in it. its only the bottom edges of the motor. but thanks for the concern
i was just thinkin since its got the vent in the pole moisture would get pulled into there while playing. just what first came to mind. i would try some clr like recommended. put it on a rag and scrub.
