Default Battery size recommendation

In the near future I will be installing my Sundown 1500d in my Crx mated to a Nightshade 15 D2. Obviously I plan on running it @ 1ohm to get the most out of the amp. My issue is that the stock Alternator isnt that powerfull(I think around 65-70 amps) so I was wondering what size battery I should look for. I only want to run one. As far as the location of the battery it will be in the rear in a Battery box. The battery box size is 13-1/2" long x 9-1/2" wide x 10" high . Thanks for the help.

Thank you for the reply. I know that I can successfully fit a Group 31 battery in the box, I was really just wondering what brand/AH Rating I should go with.

well you have your brand speciific people here. but ive found xs power batteries are very powerful and reliable. and generally speaking, with that small of an alt, ur gonna want as big as battery as possible. i would try and squeeze a xs power D3100 in there

I understand about the brand lovers, I am the same way with my turbo stuff haha. I am looking for something that is decent priced and will work good with what I am running. I have been told I should look into at least a 100 ah battery. Does this sound about right? I also have been looking at HO alts but haven't really decided yet.

the xs power d2700 should be fine when i had a honda with with a 90a alt i had a d5100r under the hood and a d3400 in the back and had an audioque 2200d at 1ohm. so i would think a d2700 in the back would be fine. as long as the big 3 is done in 1/0 and i would run 1/0 pos and 1/0 neg front to back. thats how i did my fit and did the same in my escape i just added another pos and neg run like last week after adding a second d9. and for wiring id go with knokonceptz. the knew kca is pretty good stuff thats i used for my second runs. and its only $87.50 per roll + shipping

The run to the back will be KNU KLMX 1/0 I already have 50 ft of it left over. I know it is not the best but it is what I have. Just to make it clear this will be my only battery. I do not have room up front for one. Big 3 Is already done(I do this on everything I own) It just works haha What about doing a deka 31 series? They seem to carry a decent Ah rating and are cheaper used.
