Default Remotes for a remoteless deck

This past weekend (before my car accident) i installed my first double din headunit (this is my first vehicle that has the room for one). I bought the pioneer avh-3200bt but i never looked to see if it came with a remote. Unfortunately it didnt! My next build is a 150+ bassracer and most organizations require for you to be outside the vehicle once 150 is reached. What are my options beside running an external deck? Is it possible to get any pioneer remote and it works on my deck?

No.

First off, it most likely does not have a IR reciever, so even if you did buy a remote the HU wouldnt respond. Second, modifying it to work with a remote wont work, Im a certified electronics tech and I wouldnt try that. Get a new one or run it externally.

i like this deck alot. I had intentions of installing a deck in the trunk in the long run so i might as well start now. At 150+ bassracer a deck is bound to skip sometime so an external deck wont be bad

For bassrace there is not limit as to when you have to exit the vehicle like DB Drag.

Supposedly that's in the works, Mark. Nothing officially yet though, so I can't say for sure. Just what I heard...

I run alot of pioneer decks and that one should work like my z-120 as far as adding a remote. You need to get a wireless adapter, the most common for pioneer is the pac wri-p,then use a standard pioneer remote.

Most Pioneer double DINs work with remotes, they just don't include them. That's how my D3 was.
