I had NO deadener on the roof of my altima, but several layers of peel & seal on the doors. Broke 1 roof support and the steel brackets for the overhead console. Doubt deadener would have helped with that...

For daily I'd do it, for the meter you'd need to test as some guys lose on the meter when deadening the roof...

For a daily... the risk of gaining/losing a few tenths is far outweighed by the wear and tear on his car getting killed by the eqipment that he is putting in. But if we go in on deadener, we can get together and test before we lay it all down.

What subs did you decide on? I saw that you finally decided on a wall. Just an FYI though... I saw over on the USACi forum that they are considering a trunk "mod" class where you can do some cutting of the rear deck and trunk wall. I don't know how much the current trunk rules had to do with your decision of doing a wall, but it might be something to consider if you are going to be starting to compete. The current mod classes are LOUD. With a trunk mod class, you could get all of the pressure into the cabin and still have the option of backseats. Just a heads up.

BTW- there is a pretty decent USACi show next Saturday at Crazy Ralph's in Gonzales that all of the local guys on here will be going to. You should totally drive down and meet everybody. The turd won't be there, but the Lexus will be making a comeback into the lanes
