Default As a beginner, I need some help.

I know a small bit about car audio, but nothing serious. I have about $750 to spend, but I can go up to $800. I need everything - Box, Amp, Subs, and Wires. My friend recommended me to AQ and told me to check out 12'' SDC's and the 1200W amp, and then to ask Spy for a box. I was gonna do that, but I'm having second guesses. I was also looking at the 12'' Ascendant Audio Assasin's, and my friend said they could handle 600W each. Basically, I need some very helpful person to tell me what to get, be it AQ, AA, or some entirely different company. I want 2 Subs, and a 1200W amp, so those are the only requirements. I appreciate any replies.

Why not look into the Sundown SA-12s. There 600 rms and don't need a lot of space. Not all the expensive also.

Size isn't an issue. I'm driving a 99 Cherokee, and the trunk is pretty big.

Honestly, SA 12's would be the way to go they are by far the most impressive 12 for the price i have come across, if you are able to id get 2 of them and run them on a AP3000d
if not grab a single on a AP1500d. I would say go with audiopipe on the amps just because your on a budget and they arnt super power hungry

Would it have to be 12's,or would 15's work too? Is there any chance of getting a decent box second hand?I know that I have 3 extra boxes, and there are probably other forum members in your area that might have an extra box laying around.OR you could build your own.If you have never done it...it is not that hard. Then finding inexpensive wire is not that hard.

I would go for the SA12's, but they're out of my price range. As would 15's, or at least that's what I would guess. Keep in mind I can only go up to $800. And if I could find a decent second hand box, that would be great. I'll have to ask around when I figure out what kind of Subs and Amp to get.

Sam, if you want you and me can try and make a box. I have a pretty good idea of it since spy made mine and I've looked at dimensions, and all of that stuff.. it's worth a try, then maybe you could get those subs haha.

SA-12 x 2 = $360
Audiopipe AP-15001D = $169
Build your own box = $50 - $60
Total - $599 - $609.
That leaves more than enough for wiring.
