Default Business-to-consumer needs major improvements

I find it disheartening that when you want to make a purchase from a company you have to jump through loops just to find pricing for there products. I went to the company's website to just find basic info on the woofers and no pricing listed anywhere on the site. So I called the company and was advised that I would need to contact my local vendor to make a purchase. So I was given a number to the local vendor in which that number was disconnected. So I called back and person on the phone was very nice and states that they will check and call me back. I received a new number and called the local vendor guy and it was actually a cell number not a shop number. I was like OK fine, he advised me that he will call me tomorrow when he is in the shop. I then received a text from him 30 minutes later "to email my specifications of what I'm looking for, in case I need an upgrade for the woofers." So the next day I emailed the local vendor the type of amps and wattage I will be using, but I did not receive a response back. A day passed, so I emailed another party that markets for this company that is well known on the caraudio, smd, and caco forums, but again I did not receive a response. So I forwarded that email to the head of the company and still no response on pricing. Now can anyone explain to me a logical reason why from 10/20-10/25 I still do not know what it will cost me to make a purchase from this company. I know I am not the only one that has been through this, but it seems that the only logical reason I can get from this experience is everyone gets different pricing. Its not fair as a consumer to have to go through so much just to make a purchase and to know your getting "possibly inflated prices."

Most companies will not sell direct to the public, you need to find a local dealer for the product and go visit them in person and you should get what you need on the spot. If you don't then I would consider it a problem.

If you have to go through that much, you should not buy from them.

These.

If a company doesn't provide you with customer service that you feel is adequate, then find a new company.

Now imagine you need service to said item!!! Forget about it.

I say move on. There are plenty of responsive shops/resellers that would appreciate your business.

It doesn't sound like the manufactures fault it sounds like the dealer is dicking him around. I would call back and let them know about your experience and see if they can do anything to help you before totally dismissing them.

You should be able to find the price online. Even if these items are not sold online, you can find people that are selling used and narrow down the price, hell sometimes if someone is selling it, they will say "i bought it for $$$$"
