Default dissapointed with 6.5 kappas.

i just recently installed two sets of infinity kappas and wired them to a p450.4 and i am kind of dissapointed with their loudness. they're not as loud at i expected. they sound great but the highs are not what i was expecting.

the amp is rated 225rms X 2 @ 4 ohms, and i have it wired at 4.5 ohms.

the kappas comp set is rated at 90 rms, but the 6.5 says 90 rms on it and the tweeters says 50 rms on it.

does anyone have experience with the kappas? can they take more power? do you think it could be because of the slightly higher ohm load? if i give the comp set 140 rms it should split it 90/50 to the mid and tweeter correct?

before i bought the kappas i read a lot of reviews saying that they are very "bright" which they are but i love it, i was just expecting more.

why cant you wire a comp set in series? two sets up front and two in the rear?

i wired the wire going into the crossovers in a series to get the 4.5 ohms.

would there be any difference in sound from going bridged to giving each comp set their own channel?

the way you said it, sounded like you had 1 set wired in series which can't happen
