i have to run my 2 kicker l7's at 4 ohms then wire them together for a 2 ohm load is there a correct way to wire them as far as the coils should i be running the POS wire from the first coil to the second coil or keep it on the first coil and run off second coil ? idk if there is a right or wrong way to hook them up thanks any info will be appreciated
I have tested that amp about a bazillion times. I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.
But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.
What final impedance are you trying to get them to? What amp are you using? If your amp give you power at a 2ohm load then wire them to a final impedance of 2 ohm. If it stable at a 1/2 ohm and you have the electrical for that, by all means go for the 1/2 ohm. Like the previous gent said, check RF woofer wiring wizard. It will point you in the rite direction.
JAYARE2007MAG....u already have another post just LIKE this one... Get a DIFFERENT amp so you can run the correct ohm load so you can run proper power to your woofers...im going from you said you have a BOSS 3000 amp in your other post..
