How much wire is something that really only you can find out really. Not too hard to get a basic idea though. Example. My '66 plymouth, the cable needed to go the length of front fender + the width of the firewall, then it went into the car. So length of cabin + length of fender + width of car = almost what I needed. Have to give some extra slack for getting around shit in the vehicle.

Wire is one thing that even I don't skimp on. It's re-useable at least. After using it, I will never use anything except this Kicker Hyperflex personally.

0 experience with batteries though.

the deka's will be a good choice for the secondary amp battery. I have a total of 4 deka 9a31's on jus 1 ap30001D i havent started my install but it all should work jus fine on a mechman 270amp alt in a 96 Grand Marquis as for the front i would use the next size up battery for which the truck can take. as for wire you can go with any wire as long as it True to Spec. i recommend knukonceptz kollosus although i use the KCA i am doing 6 runs total 3 neg 3 pos. * in a system you wana keep lengths of cable as short as possible to minimize resistance across the wire. this keeps stuff cool and the ap amp isnt really nown for being high build quality

naw i use the method a guy name mistrass told me with Dekas 2 9a31's per 3000 watts. but i have two AQ HDC3 15 and i plan to get another ap30001D or jus get an Crescendo Audio BC5500 wenenver it comes out.

but on a serious note u want to sometimes over do it wen it comes to electrical. my system as it is now with 1 amp i get virtually no voltage drop. from 15.3V COLD 14.3V HOT
