Default TRUE rating of American Bass VFL 120.1

Okay, I simply want to know what the actual output of this amp is @1Ω @ 14 volts. I've heard anywhere from it does above the rated 2600 rms, to some guy clamping it at 2300 rms, to some guy "cornering" the owner of AB to get the owner to say it was rated at 18 v, therefore only producing no where near the "rated" power. I just want to see an actual clamp test or someone with personal experience.

Easy. Get yourself a $40 Craftsman clamp meter from Sears and another multimeter and you can clamp it. I called AB and they told me about 2300 rms. On the box, it says power rated at 14.4 volts. That's about all I can tell you.

Gimme about 10 minutes and I'll go clamp my 100.1. It should give you an idea of what the 120.1 does.

My bad. Lol. I had already moved on to testing my IA 20.1. Lol.

Anyway, I posted it in the clamped numera thread but, with the gains set properly for 1 ohm operation and with rise to 2.1ohms I got 1,335w.
