Default Running Different Batts

I currently have an odyssey pc1750 up front. I plan on running db drag street A. I would like to keep that battery and for daily I want to run two xs 3100 in the back. I was just wondering if it's ok to mix brands of batteries without having problems.

I've never had a problem with it. Some people will tell you that it's not good to run different batts, because they won't charge or discharge at the same rate and that could cause problems, but I've never heard anyone confirm this.

Well, from what I currently understand, you can mix them, especially if you just have a different one up front. What it comes down to is Ah I believe. If you have 2 different kinds of batteries, like 2 d3100s in the back and a SPV70 in the back, and you wire the Stinger between the 2 XS's, you can't pass a full load of like 370ah through then, but the stinger will hold the second battery to it's load. So the first (farthest from amp) will put out 110a, then the SPV will do 50a or whatever, then the next XS will be help to 50a. If you have 2 d3100s in back, you will be fine. I am doing the same thing in a few weeks, stock up front, d3100s in the back. I think you should be okay.

Well I also want to run some street beat and whatever I roll up to. Those 2150's are over 800 cu inches in size.
