Default My little rant to the amp companies.

Why do you claim your power and ground input terminals are 1/0 when even freshly stripped, regular ol' 1/0 is a fight? I absolutely abhor having to cut down wire that I just spent $4/ft for. Just make them oversized. How hard is that?

And stop using phillips heads for terminal screws. They are horrible. You can't tighten them down well and they strip much too easily. And even if you do use hex key, how hard is it to make them all the same size? The money spent on having to send two different wrenches would probably offset the money spent on the same size terminals. Everybody is using 8awg for speaker wire anyway.

I haven't used every amp on the market, but these are just a couple of the things that annoy me about the amps I have used. Which is plenty enough to make an observation.

What did I miss?

Valid points other then I don't ever see the REM terminal being the same size as the POS/NEG inputs or speaker terminals, so you're going to need 2 allen wrenches.

AQ amps the REM is same size as the speaker terminals.

x2 on the phillips head screws being a joke for 1/0 wire as they strip out way too easily...

Well heres my take. The terminals are right, the wire you use? Oversized. you compare 1/0 knu to plain 1/0 welding cable the knu is a bit bigger, not the amps fault. And on the different hex sizes? the bigger the actual screw the bigger the hex to tighten. This is an industry standard all over the world. to make them all the same size theyd either have to make all the scew bulks the same size, or have custom setscrews made.... and custom screws would assumably cost much more then off the shelf junk. Yes it is a PITA sometimes but such is life lol
