Unhappy Very light sub output

hey guys help me out here...
just wired up an audioque hdc315 to a DD m1b and it literally has no sub output.
i had to turn the gain all the way up and still had the hu turned all the way up just to have some little output...
check all wiring.. its correct.

the head unit is a jensen vm9312.... only has a single sub out pre so i ran a y-splitter going to the back.
on the hu the sub output is turned up

im stumped... is the pre on the hu that low and needs a line driver or what b/c the 4125 its even at 30% and the speakers a blaring loud. i also tried running the rca's from the 4125, same output

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Check your wiring configuration on the sub. I've messed up on the wiring before and it screwed things up big time when I turned it up.

you talking about this unit?
Jensen VM9312 Motorized In-Dash 7 TFT-LCD Touchscreen Monitor

i would make sure you have the rca's plugged into the correct pair for the subwoofer, and the headunit is set for sub output

didn't check the headunit. But it sounds to me like the pre-voltage is just low. I would get rid of the head unit and go with something that has 3-5 volt pre-outs.

i'll check the sub again in the morn but its hard to mess that up.. there's only 1 sub.. dual 2ohm wired in parallel for a 1ohm load.
wires to the amp are wire to the 2 close +/- on the m1b...
Should i wire the sub to the far +/-?

dont have the money right now to get rid of it but if i can get a line driver and it help i'll grab one in the morning...like a rockford bld
