Default meca/trailblazer help

I need help with trailblazer owners that compete in meca or meter at the headrest meca style. What is the best way to have your seats and doors and such to get the best score?

Haven't personally used a Trailblazer but most of the vehicles we do at our shop for MECA we do with all windows up and driver's door open. Some vehicles do better with door closed and window down. The best way to find out is to do some testing if you have access to a meter.

You will be able to manipulate your door and or window during your run.
Here are some of the configurations you need to try:
Seat forward.
Recline position as close to straight up as possible
Rear Seat up
Rear Seat down
Fire up with the sub
Fire back with the sub
Sub up port back (typicaly a good configuration)
Sub back port back
Seat down sub forward port back
Distance of the box to the loading surface

Since it is on the passenger side mic on the drivers side. Have the opposite window down and while you are burping close the door and you should be good to go. As for box placement there are quite a few factors you really consider such as: tuning, loading, distance to the mic and reflective surfaces. How much work have you done on your rear doors? My results in my hatch varied a lot from firing in all the different positions but in all circumstances I found firing in the corner worked best when no prep work had been done to the car. Try and use as much logic as you can and think about it before you test. (it is better to fire at a corner because it it stronger than a un foamed or un deadened area). One of the things our team is investing is a extra mic so we can meter from both seats when we test.
