Default box and aeroport question

Thinking of getting a 5.5-6 cuft box built for an 18. I got two 6 inch ports laying around and was wondering would it be okay to use both of them in the box?

6cf box two 6" aeros would be great. I had two 15s 6cf box two 6" aeros tuned to 36hz and got Hella low in my trunk...sold the box to someone local and put it in there 4runner and they love it and so do his friends. Even the local douch car audio shop liked it.

this whole new school of car audio is designed for u to use cheap equipment over power ur subs so u need recones..go ahead run two 6 inch and when u need a recone in 2 months u will c..that 16 inch per cube is a bullshit standard ..no one installs anymore justs repeat what everyone else is doin...ten years ago we used to install car audio..not just set a standard and throw it in there...cars,music acoutics play to much of a roll in the actual response of any enclosure in a car.bigger is not always better..what im tryin to say is trial and error..thats basically my point ant thr 12volt calculator is a good place to start..yr ear will b the ultimate judge..

Ya bro I was totally saying use 16sq of port per cube lol...being sarcastic. Ok I had a box with single 4" aero and it was a 4cf box and wasn't that great...same box design used 6" aero and was way better. You need the right sq of port for the subs and box. Not enough port and you will just have a leaky sounding box which is worse for the subs.

You don't know anything about CA keep to your self about your old school ways. I've never blew a sub! Nor over powered so don't assume sh!t. Just stop while your ahead.
