Default sub up port back in trunk?

Seen it a few times before, how well does it work?

I did it in my mustang with a HDC312 and it worked fine and was plenty loud but it definitely rattles the trunk lid a lot.

Why so? It's how I do it and I've had best results between getting loud and sound quality. The subs and port load off of the internal pressure inside the cabin. It'll hit all frequencies very nicely too. You have to make sure it's a perfect seal though.

I'd face everything back, or everything forward sealed. I've seen plenty of sub up setups in trunks that were cancellation heaven.

I also had a btl 15" firing forward sealed off with an 8" aero before I walled my car and it was awesome.

I had like 10 cans of e-foam around the box and in the side walls where there were passages to the trunk.
