Default building a car audio test bench, how to?

im looking to make a test bench for all my car audio needs/wants...what am i looking for...what do i need to make this work??...also, how exactly am i gonna wire it up??...it confuses me not having an ignition switch to plug into but im sure theres a way to make one or something similar, im just not aware how

so far, i know im gonna need
1) headunit
2) battery
3) sub(s)
4) sub amp(s)
5) speakers
6) speaker amp(s)

No idea on the actual set up, but when going without an ignition/remote I'd assume that a toggle switch would do the trick. Wire starting at battery, to switch, to Remote input on amp/HU. Easy peasy

my remote wire is on a toggle switch in the car anyways...

Remote is the "Start working damnit" wire. The constant 12v (settings saver) I think is usually yellow.

In this case you'd have 2 coming straight from battery, but 1 (the Remote, Blue probably) would make it's way to the switch before getting to the HU.

Just use a power supply... And yes you can run a toggle switch if you want or just with the constant and acc together.

thats where im confused...what do i connect to the battery??...my main issue is the wiring and how to do it all

You can connect the power supply to the battery and then wire it like you would a car

You won't need a battery if you use a power supply like the one I got which is a pyramid. I think it can do up to 24v.

Well depending on what model power supply and then has to figure what kinda amperage he is gonna draw..Or want to be prepared for..
