Default For those with limited power classes...

what do you honestly think is the highest number that could come from ~2500 watts clamped power? im selling the subs i have and getting a TL over the winter so ill be able to test before shows instead of at them.lol. i drive a wagon and have about 6.75 GROSS to work with in the cargo area. ive thought of doing a smaller box, sticking with 12's. ive thought of trying like 4 10's. maybe even 2 15's if i can squeeze it. im just not sure which will be the most capable as it will also be a daily system. i just change tuning with aero's when i compete. i was originally thinking sa12's in my box i have now since i dont have thatt much power. but idk i always second guess myself. any suggestions?

depending on the box (how well its built and designed), im sure you can get a 150 easily on 2 10s, single/dual 12s, single 15 ect.

thats just crazy.lol. i could only hope. i guess then i should just try to get the most cone area i can given i can still use an optimal box for the subs? its most likely gonna stay 2 12's or 4 10's then...

with proper install theres no reason to think you shouldnt be able to be in the low to mid 40's. even with mid mid grade subs.
hell you could do an entire system with low to mid grade equipment and be in the mid 40's with it if it was built right.

you are talking about cars built for numbers.

this guy is talking about a box built for music, out of a cargo area. it might be tough to get a sustained 150 on music out of the cargo area, and still have it sound musical. Sustaining 150 musically and having it sound GOOD is a totally different animal than a 150db burp peak.

well i dont compete on music. i do just burp at comps. but i use diff aero combinations for daily and comps to achieve the two goals out of the same box. and bones, ive already done a 146 sealed. just seeing if there was any setup that shined in my application like some do in trunks, suv's, etc.

oh, you said it was a daily box, so I assumed you wanted 150s daily on music... that's my mistake then. You can definitely burp 150s for sure.
