hmmm lets see...

Virtually all motors out there use multiple magnets stack for excursion and maybe cooling. Magnet stack is usually overkill as far as motor force is concerned because it dosn't take much at all to fully saturate the common 1010 steel plates used.

The top plate is easily one of the most important parts, also the BP obviously.

If you look at a motor and it has a .25" TP and is rated over 1k then it is BS. Even 1k is overkill for that sub unless it is a 4" coil motor or similar. Power handling of a sub really does depend on the motor because the motor and coil have their own thermal limit. You can give them more then rated but are wasting power.

So much out there, i don't want to go all out...

No motors are not the same. Some have tight gaps, loose gaps, underhung design, overhung design, double stack, triple stack, quad stack, single stack ect.......

All speakers work off the same principle. Doesn't mean one is interchangeable with each other.
