Default Can a recone kit be disected?

I ordered 2 recone kits and when I got them they didnt fit. I gave the wrong measuremnets to the builder. Is there anyway that you can disect a recone kit? All I need is a different coil

if u know a way to remove the epoxy safely, tryna melt it off with a soldering gun wont work, the fumes burn ur eyes, nose hairs, n seems to b very poisenous just by the fumes burning, i mean i wouldnt know :P

Usually no you can't re-use parts. Maybe the coil....but that doesn't help. You can try and take your time to cut away the adhesive around the triple joint on the inside and outside then pull the coil out. But its gonna take some time.

I suggest getting motors that fit your recones.

If you don't care about saving the coils, unwind them and then try to collapse the former and remove from the assembly. It will still need some TLC to get a new coil to fit, but may work. Kinda hacky though. You are basically destroying the most expensive part of the recone to salvage a cone and spider. Try to sell the recones to recoup some of your money so you can get the right ones.
