Default Design request for e2 [Completed]

Design request for e2theloc

Subwoofer/speaker brand:sundown sa12

Subwoofer/speaker model, size, and number of woofers:4 12s

Expected power handling:5k at the most

Vehicle enclosure will be used in (please add notes if specific or unusual placement will be used): 2000 jeep grand cherokee. back seats are going to be laying down though

Max dimensions (MUST fit in vehicle or through trunk opening!):17 tall, 41 wide and idk say 40 for now

Listening expectations (description): rap dubstep some rock/metal

What bandwidth is acceptable? 35-60hz high output, 30-80hz? 4th order

How low do you want it to play and how important are the low notes (Song examples are encouraged)? i want it to get low on rap. 30hz and up would do

Are you looking for a heavy low end, or one that blends with the rest of the output?

How important is sound quality compared to loudness?25-75

Are you able to cut odd angles? (45*, 7*..)yes

Is this an SPL design? If so, what is your peak frequency? If you do not know this, please measure your average cabin length in inches! yes this will be used for spl. peak is 47hz i am told. i have not checked for sure though

Any specific enclosure preferences (Double baffled, flush mount, center slot, blowthrough, home environment etc)?

Other notes: this needs to be a 4th order designed for spl. unless you think another enclosure will get me higher numbers.

Ill need to know what your real depth is. Distance from the rear hatch or any wall will effect gain, so I need to know which way to orient the port.

Also, will this be more for numbers or music?

How far from the hatch do you want the port? Like 6inches?

Preferably more.. Since itll be more upper end gain youre looking for, around 20inches or so would be optimal really.
Let me know what your dims are and we can go from there. Up-firing towards the roof with the port against your rear hatch may be your best bet if space is limited.

18 inchs of space between my 17 tall box and the roof, in case you take a up firing port as an option

Good deal.
And if I go ~49 deep or however and up-fire, how close can you get the port to touching the rear hatch? I understand theres normally a spacer and it would be a pain to push it up against the wall, but normally having the port in a corner or against a wall is +1 for gain.
