Default help

I dont mind buying blue prints but i have a question first...

I want to run 2 12 fiq's the first style motors...

its a blowthru 97-03 f150 std cab cut behind the drivers side seat..
cuts 20x12.5

I had 1 12"q in a taperd tline and it worked great just didnt do good in the higher notes plus i was tossing 2000 rms to it give or take 300 for rise or what ever ...

Now could you build a horn were the subs are in the throat of the horn and fit to my 20x12.5 opening or can you build a tline like a horn were the subs are in the port...

just to give another ex of what im saying...
think of the two subs faceing you and to the left of the subs is the port but infront of the subs to the side... so the port and the subs will come to a Lwith each other... subs faceing into the cab and port faceing right coming from the left...

I was thinking of rebuilding my tline and running iso... but i want it to get louder...

if you say this is something we can do then we can go from there

thanks

In a blow-through configuration, normally you get more of the smooth low-end gain increase that is often talked about. Subs face forward as such will give you low end, but not much upper usually.
The type of enclosure you are talking of would be a tapped horn, the tline could essentially be done as well with the subs in the mouth, and a would be a 'tapped' pipe.
With two subs, especially two 12s, the pipe would be rather large, the tapped horn - even more so.. generally considered as too large for vehicle use, and for good reason!

Why is your cutout on the drivers side? I dont mean to be negative, but for listening thats about the worst place to put it. You want room and space for reflections and gain to happen - being very close to the drivers and essentially directly on-axis leaves a lot to be desired.

What are the specs of your previous line, do you know? If not - Post the plans or message me them if you will and Ill reverse them so I have a point of reference as far as performance goes.

In this case, it may be worth trying what would essentially be a 'coupling chamber' you could say between the enclosure/radiators and the cabin. Basically creating your own pseudo-area for reflection or whatever you want to call it if that makes any sense.
That would again take more space though.

More details!
