Default What to do next?

So I've been thinking a lot about what I want to build next and can't come up with an answer on my own. Currently I'm running 2 12's on a SAZ3500 in a daily box tuned to 32hz. My last (and first) competition I went to get metered just to see where I stood. I hit a 143.2 with those 2 12's and my daily box but of course I'm yearning for more!!

I have a trailblazer EXT (third row seats) and I put my box on the folded down third row to gain a little cargo area use. I'm heavily debating building a sub-floor to act as an amp rack and level out the cargo floor to the folded down seats which would give me tons more space for a larger box. That said, I've been thinking about going with either 4 12's (probably 4 Level 3's or comparable), or 2 18's. My problem is that from talking to members over on Trailvoy.com, they say our trucks are hard to get loud. I'm wondering what would be a better bet to get closer to 150-ish in my truck.

My current peak is 40hz and I've read that for the Envoy's and Trailblazers the average peak is 39-41 so I'm about right on target.

My power will be the same for now...my 2 Deka's, 250 amp alt, 1/0 Knu Fleks throughout so I'll be using just my SAZ3500 to try and get the 150 mark.

Thoughts on this anyone? I don't want to keep buying stuff just to buy it...budget is starting to get more limited as I go on lol!

Started digging a little deeper and think I may have answered my own question. Cone area for 4 12's is 452.16 while 1 18's is 508.68. Based on that I may have to go with the 2 18's as I'm looking to squeeze the most cone area out that I can. I'm not doing this for comps or anything like that...just my own listening and maybe stopping by a comp now and again. Now on a mission to find 2 18's that match up well with the amp and space I have available...this is why I love audio! It's a never ending quest for more lol! Love hate relationship I guess....

One 12" = 113.1 in^2

One 18" = 254.47 in^2

I think you meant to say "2 18s", but I wasn't sure. In any case, I would go with 2 18s.

Yeah...def a typo lol! Thanks for your input as well.

I am really battling this in my head but think I may have finally overcome the war. I've been looking at those platform 3's from PSI and running them at .5 nominal...seems like a good equation to me! I want to hear some feedback on them first though. I can't believe that they wouldn't be great but would still like to hear about them before making another purchase
