Default Capacitor or not???

Hi all. I have a 01 Passat all stock so far. Once I get back home I plan to do the big 3 and another battery. The system I will be running is a rf t2000.1bd, treo ssx 15 wired at 2 ohms. I've heard that a capacitor should be in place and I've also heard that it's not necessary. I was wondering if I could get some suggestions on which type of battery and cap I should get. Also is it necessary to have a separate batt or would an upgraded batt be sufficient. This is also going to be a daily driver. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The only cap i would run would be a combo between battery and cap (batcap)

Thanks for the help guys. Just so my noob brain can be sure, how exactly do I connect the batcap? Is it hooked up directly to the stereo in place of the stock battery or something? Sorry about all the questions.
