Ok, I'm adding a small system to my business(a restaurant) and I can't for the life of me figure out how to make this work without tons of HDMI switches and wires all over. I want a simple solution, as simple as possible anyways. Here's the run down.
I have a blu-ray player with a single HDMI output, no input.
I have a receiver with a single HDMI input, no output.
I have a TV with multiple HDMI inputs, no outputs.
I want to be able to have my receiver playing the sound from the movies played on the blu-ray player and have video on the tv from the blu-ray player.
I'd also like to have the receiver play the sound from the tv like when I'm watching a football game.
Is there a single simple switch that would work to make this setup as headache free as possible? Or am I doomed to run a handful of switches that all require power and HDMI cables all over the place to be ran? I'm not against running wires in the ceiling so I can hide everything, I just didn't want to buy a ton of excess equipment if it isn't needed.
I guess my only other option to keep it simple would be to run the blu-ray player to the tv and run analog(RCA) cables from the audio output to the receiver but I want the HD sound along with the HD video ya know.
