I know nothing about T-lines to be honest. slot port and aero port I can do but that is about it... LOL
I am planning to use some PC power supplies (I know a lot of peopel think this is "ghetto" but...) to power the amp and had a question about them as well. After looking around it seems the higher the wattage the power supply is the more amperage it can put out. I have found some 1Kw power supplies and was thinking I would run a pair of them in series.
The specific ones I am am looking at have the fallowing outputs: Output: +3.3V @ 30A; +5V @ 30A; +12V1 @ 20A; +12V2 @ 20A; +12V3 @ 25A; +12V4 @ 25A
; -12V @ 0.8A; +5VSB @ 6.0A... since I will be using all four of the +12v outputs to go to the amp will that indeed give me 90A or am I mixed up here? I found them for $20/ea so I figured buy two just to be safe. For the time being the amp I have is a Sony (2 X 40A fuses) and will be running at 4ohm putting out 500~ rms, I will be getting a 1ohm stable amp that puts out 1Kw-1.5Kw once I get it all hooked up and tested out...
