music, HT, or both?

You really need to go out and demo speakers and bring along music that you will listen to.

I have klipsch legends and really like them, but the horns can be too bright for some people...

sure.

$2500 for one speaker. That's a good deal?

I'm digging my PR setup. I'm sure if you tune them correctly you'll love yours too.

look up Audio Nirvana or commonsenseaudio.com and build yourself a good cabinet for them. a friend has a pair of 12s that sound wonderful for what it is. i was thinking of doing 20 6.5s in a line array (10 left, 10 right)

I love my klipsch rf's and rw12 sub. but if i had my way i would go with b&w's or pyradigm's, of dynaudio's, for the towers and if no budget then the new klipsch Palladium series
