Default odd idea

i picked up a sa-15 to play with, its getting a little hot on ~1600 watts, was thinking about making a water cooling system for it. bad idea? good idea? if i do it would anyone want to see it?

How about not giving it 1600 rms then you won't have that problem...

can and have been, i just have a tendency to run my system for long periods of time. (up to 3 hours.) i mean sure i can put my Q back in and it will take it all day but, whats the fun in that?

only thing I could think of is copper tubing near the top plate somewhere and making a circulation system for the water, still not going to be close enough to the coil to do anything though......

Brace a freezer with 3/4" mdf and use that as an enclosure

OP, the only way to do it is to get close to the coil, and you'd have to have a system that pumps out some serious cooling to keep the coils cool.

Another option is to re-run an AC vent from the car and vent it into the box directly firing onto the coil....?? lol

Even then, condensation is not your friend.
