Default Lanzar Opti 6k 732$ shipped onlinecarstereo

I couldn't resist I had to pick one of these up after seeing the internals this thing looks beefy and 46lbs?

Right now they are going for 779$ brand new with warranty from an authorized online dealer onlinecarstereo.com

Just use OCSAVE13 to get an extra 6% off your order, took mine down by 46.74$ to 732$ shipped

I hope you get the amp. That site has been known to sell items they no longer have in stock and then make you wait for a refund.

Hopefully it doesn't go up in smoke like every other opti amp I've seen. Even with warranty it's a hassle.

Well funny story...They are out of stock on that amp too. So this thread is kind of useless now

I just wanted a temporary cheaper amp to still run 2 ss xxx-18s until I can find a truck/suv for a bigger system.

They wanted to upgrade me to the 7001d and I didnt like the 5k @ 1ohm 7k @ .5 ohm

The old amp sounded like a better deal to me because it was supposedly the same board as the ss xxx-10ks and as long as you had electrical down they did ok for cheaper than big name brand amp

My temporary cheaper amp turned into 1000$ lanzar amp...the 11001d says 10k @ 1ohm but Im reading the powersupply fails if you run a continuous 1 ohm

Oh yeah and only 2 power and ground inputs but calls for (4) 250 amp fuses, why dont they provide more inputs or dual input adapters with them if its needed

The way I see it without dual adapters its going to be (2) 300 amp fuses on 2 1/0 runs so Ill be maxed out at 600amps going in but i figure if I can manage a good clean 5k all day without it getting hot and without clipping subs then the ss xxx-18s should love every bit of 2.5k each

Now I just need a few new batteries to use it because mine are nice but too old and arn't holding a charge any longer so its time for new ones before the amp goes in. It may be a little while until I can use it.

EDIT::
Found some pictures of the internals on another forum so I uploaded them here too

Very similar board to many other common big boys, if you have the electrical to back it up, not the most efficient but make power. Don't run this on a factory electrical. I'm not a fan of online car stereo myself. Check Amazon they have had great deals on these in the past

Amazon is great but if you live in a state where they have tech centers and shipping locations you end up paying tax. I happen to live in one of those states :/

I am planning on trying to buy 3-4 batteries at costco without spending too much because Im already broke after just trying to buy a "temporary amp" until I can get the ab 1100.1 18v up and going that is just sitting on my floor

Will be run in a 07 dodge charger with DC XP270amp alt with a fiberglass box molded to the inside of the trunk in like 6 pieces then glasses together in the trunk and sealed around with greatstuff, only has (3) 6" ports right now because I only have 2 6x9 and 1 8" opening from the rear deck.

Planning on cutting my ports out to the 6x9s that the rear deck has and doing 2 6x9 ports and 1 8" port if I cant do 3 6x9 ports, I think I am going to cut some 6x9 rings of the inner diameter and roll some dual layer cardboard inside until its nice and smooth and then just soak it in fiberglass resin and install into box

Soon to be 2 SS XXX-18s in 11 cu ft-ish @ 35-ish on a lanzar opti 11001d hoping for a good clean 5k all day

It might be a few weeks but I will see about getting some pictures and results/opinions posted about this amp.
