No, i have not gotten to that yet because i would have to relocate the terminals on one of the sides and i am lazy lol. I did notice a big difference going from port forwards to port backwards though. Do you really think port up would make that big of a difference?
Damn thats nice. I remember reading that build log a while ago and waiting to see the box. And i just got ahold of a smaller box ( current box is actually for an hdc3) and im going to play with both of them and try port up and see what happens.
I have tested that amp about a bazillion times. I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.
But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.
Yea unfortunately that box is to wide to fire towards one of the side walls. I had a btl 12 side firing and that sounded good. I just moved the terminals to the side of the box so i can try it port up, and fixed a terminal on the other box i got. Im just waiting for the silicone to dry before i try them out.
