Default 2012 Lancer 2 Obsidian 12s in a 4th order

This is a build i did for a friend of mine... its still in progress sorta... when ever he can come down and its not raining I can finish the mids and highs but box is complete!

2012 Lancer
2 Obsidian Audio 12s
AudioPipe 1500
6 American Bass Sq6.5
2 american bass 1" tweeters
Autotek 4ch

2:1 4th order with 1cuft sealed per woofer... each woofer in its own sealed chamber. and a common ported chamber that's a tad bit over 4cuft tuned to 45hrz on the dime... all measurements are after displacement.

Box is built in 2 sections sealed with weather stripping so that it can still be removed. It also have a 3/4 acrylic window in the front with white and blue leds inside.

The rear deck will have pods for the 6.5s but the ones I originally built do not fit... I didnt have the car with me when i built em.

how many total sq inches? people dont usually talk about bandpass port area in terms of box size, for bandpasses its much easier to talk about total port area. as a rule of thumb for bandpasses it should be around 1/2 sd, i believe.

pod and box look really nice. wish i could make boxes half as clean as most people around here...

2 Obsidian 12s in a 4th order bandpass - YouTube

Here is a video of it you can see the inside bracing and how the two boxes mount together... the thick weather stripping make a small gap but its sealed tight
